Judd Plans to Study, Shine and Serve in Cochise County

Peggy Moser Judd, a lifetime resident of Willcox, Arizona, is officially announcing her Candidacy for a seat on the Cochise County Board of Supervisors, representing District 3 which includes the communities of West Sierra Vista, Huachuca City, Whetstone, Mescal, Benson, Pomerene, Cascabel, St. David, Dragoon, Pearce/Sunsites, Sunizona, Ash Creek, Dos Cabezes, Willcox, Bowie and San Simon.  She has previously developed a connection and trust in these and dozens of other Southern Arizona communities as she served in the State House of Representatives in 2011-2012.  Using her experience gained at the State Legislature and at the many national conferences she attended that addressed Health, Safety, Energy, Agriculture, Jobs, Economy and Constitutional Leadership, she says she plans to provide a well rounded, principled and conservative voice that will speak up for what is right and most importantly for what promotes freedom and will benefit the people she serves.  Her campaign slogan is to Study, Shine and Serve.
Judd studied her Legislative District, The Constitution, Bills and other state work she was responsible for. She attended every stakeholder meeting that was made available to her and was determined to learn as much as she could about the people she served, was present in each community as concerns arose and celebrated with them during festivals.  Learning requires involvement and she is committed to continue learning. In her “Interim” time since holding office she has continued to attend Ag Day, The County Fair and special community meetings such as the one to determine the fate of Bowie’s Water.  Judd invites, “Please feel free to reach out to me, invite me to any and everything.  I want to continue getting to know you.  No reason to wait until after the election.”
She also intends to shine a light on Cochise County through spreading positivity about the county and by her involvement, as your representative, locally, regionally and nationally.  She will continue to be a member of the National Foundation for Women Legislators, reaching out and working with other elected women across the country learning about issues and solutions that can improve our lives here at home.  She earned many awards, as a Legislator, including the Friend of Small Business Award from the NFIB and served on several House Committees including the Energy and Natural Resources and Ag and Water Committees. She was a shining example of good, honest leadership, according to her colleagues, and a great reflection on the community from which she came.
According to Judd she is very excited to serve those who live, own businesses, work and visit Cochise County, especially those who reside in the one-half of the county she will represent. Even though it is the county’s largest district geographically, it is small compared to the area she covered as a legislator, which included a large portion of 5 counties.  Judd said, “This is a smaller and more closely knit group of constituents and I’m enthused that so many of them represent the agricultural background that is so much a part of my life.”

She understands the most important issues in Northern Cochise County: Lack of jobs and/or the number of people who are not working and should be, Economy-providing for more robust communities and better quality of life, Danger of over-regulation, Problems of government not following their own rules or pressing their mis-guided agenda on the citizens and Limited public resources affecting safety and welfare of citizens in remote areas near the Mexico border.   Her desire is to Study, Shine and Serve as a full time Supervisor, to spend each and every day addressing your needs in your homes and communities and to carry your voices and wishes with her to Cochise County, to the State Capitol or even the Federal Government as needed.
